This year, visualfabriq was again a sponsor at the POI Summit. Held in Amsterdam over three days in early May, the event offered us a great opportunity to network and talk to others about our ground-breaking platform and solutions.
We got to welcome industry players, existing and potential clients into our world of visualfabriq and share our passion for putting craftsmanship back in the hands of salespeople. A prominent visualfabriq stand featuring our new video, and a fired up team did the job well of drawing attention, and we received lots of positive feedback from other delegates.
A highlight of the POI Summit for our team was visualfabriq Co-founder and Chief Product Strategy, Carst Vaartjes’ presentation on the evidence that machine learning significantly improves forecast accuracy. There was keen interest in his presentation as artificial intelligence and what it can do for us when it comes to planning trade promotions is not yet well understood. People were curious and intrigued to learn that we can indeed rely on machine-based predictions for the best possible estimations for demand and financial forecasting promotional planning. Carst also addressed the change management issue of organizational resistance to machine-based predictions.
