As founders, we both have had substantial, committed careers in the FMCG. We happened to become tech-entrepreneurs because we saw that tech offered solutions to our most pressing problem – we had never been able to unlock all necessary data, easily and instantly. Interestingly, we get a lot of people asking us how we came up with the name visualfabriq. Back in the days when Jaco and Carst were conceptualising the business, the founders wanted to use words that conveyed the deeper meaning of how visualfabriq helps our customers. Carst started visualfabriq after 15 years of working in consultancy for CPG organizations. He designed and rolled out many Revenue Management and Predictive Analytics solutions for companies such as Unilever, Heineken and Heinz.
