Information about using our Service tool

In order to use our Service tool you are required to enter into an agreement with VF and to submit certain data to VF. Once you entered into an agreement, you have the ability to review, update and correct the information, in the event it changes. We use your data in connection with the Service tool to discover the (potential) market and create a standard solution in the field of local marketing, location planning, store benchmarking, etcetera.

If you have supplied your email address, VF may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what is going on with VF and our services.

Security

VF takes reasonable steps to protect customer data as you transmit it to our Site or Service tool and to protect such information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Web servers use HTTPS Certificates and are protected by firewalls. File uploading is encrypted and takes place through the web user interface, API or through sFTP. Client specific data (including metadata and files) are stored independently per client. In addition, all data access is done through middleware with security checks.

For the purpose of the Service tool, we use a login security. All passwords are saved encrypted and protected against XSS and code injection. However, you are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential.

Information, access, correction, blocking and deletion of your data.

Your data is yours. You may, upon written request, inspect or remove all your data or, if you wish to transport your data somewhere else. Upon termination of a server, the server is first scrubbed before release. In the event an agreement with VF is terminated, your data with regard to the agreement will permanently expunged from our servers and further access to your data will not be possible.

VF does not store your data for other means than described in this Policy and VF does not store your data after termination of the agreement.

VF will only share your data with third parties if that is strictly necessary for the execution of the agreement between VF and you. Additionally, you can notify us in writing if you do not wish to be contacted with information about our products and services by reporting at [email protected].
